other than water, this is basically what I run on. Coffee, New Castle, and tea (usually gunpowder).

The coffee is always brand-less, cheap. That designer coffee they drink in the city kills me. One of the things I miss the most about home, actually. Sometimes you just need a plain old poor, dumb man’s cup of coffee. They’re always the best ones anyway.

Also drink New Castle like a stupid American; across the pond it’s a ‘conversation beer’ and is meant to be served at room temperature. or something. ew.

Really started into tea because of those Diggnation boys. Always use the IngenuiTEA from Adagio to make single cups of loose-leaves. Rarely enjoy the bag stuff.

Spring 2010, “what’s in my bag.” Have a complete obsession with the Flickr tag.

The Fjallraven Kanken bag seems to hold up quite nicely. Perfect size; no need for anything huge.  Carmex because it’s so cold this time of year. No-Doz keeps you awake for those long nights in the library. Same as a cup of coffee without those starbucks prices

Lots and lots of little tiny notebooks including Field Notes and the mini-moleskine. Also a pad of engineering paper, have to keep it around. TI-84; it’s no TI-89 but it’s okay for little calculations. Light by Fenix– really small and really bright. Never know when you might need one.

Also got some pens/pencils (gotta keep that G2 around; it’s the only thing that won’t bleed through a moleskine). Netbook is the Mini 10 by Dell. I hear you can hack these for Snow Leopard which would be really nice. Last but not least the iPod. Don’t go anywhere without it.
